Day 1: Ho Chi Minh – My Tho – Ben Tre – The Island Lodge Resort ( L/D)
8:00 am– 8:30 am : tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and start on journey to My Tho – Ben Tre. On the way you will see Southern village’s rustic aesthetic on Vàm Cỏ Đông River and paddy-field along the sides of the road.
09:50 am : arrive in the first stop in My Tho, get some rest and free time for your personal activities about 15 minutes. Go on the itinerary, you will contemplate Rạch Miễu Bridge which across the biggest river of West, connect My Tho with Ben Tre.
10:30 am: get on the cruise and begin for travelling in the river. The cruise will go along Tiền River and pass through 4 islands Long – Lân – Quy – Phụng
11:00 am: Arrive in Thai Son Island (Cù Lao Thới Sơn) you will walk down on the road to the village, visit the house of residents here, see orchards and enjoy Various kinds of fruite depending on the season. Especially, you will appreciate Harmonious sounds with “ Đờn Ca Tài Tử” – A specific characteristic of Southern culture.
11:45 am: Go canoeing, weave along through the small river and see rows of coconut palm. Go to the next, go and have a look around the beekeeping places and enjoy delicious flavour of honeysuckle tea with pollen.
12:30 pm: Return the cruise and have a lunch with steak dishes of Mekong. Subsequent destination is fishing village, you can learn how to raise fish on the river. There will also be entertainment, fun and relaxation for everyone with fish.
13:00 pm: Go down Tiền River and come to Ben Tre, you will visit the place is producing coconut candy – a famous specialty of Ben Tre. Let’s find out how to process and try your hand to make, cut and pack coconut candy. And while you’re there, you can visit place is producing girdle- cake and enjoy many another specialties such as snake wine, coconut milk girdle-cake, coconut cream… as well as buy souvenirs.
Afterward, you will get on the carriage, let’s continue with your tour on the way of Tân Thạch Commune to look again orchards and keep in mind a serene and simple life of people here.
14:30 pm: Check in THE ISLAND LODGE RESORT & SPA at the local village enjoy Swimming pool and sunset on the Mekong River.
17h30 pm: Have dinner with the local villagers in the evening. Enjoy and relax at night to experience the lifestyle of the local villagers.
Day 2: Explore Villages With Bicycle – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
06h30 – 8h00 am: Have Breakfast At Resort
08h00 am: Guide will take you explore villages with bicycle.
09h30 am: Come back resort enjoy Swimming pool in resort.
12h00 pm: Check out room
12h30 pm: You have lunch time in restaurant.
13h40 pm: Our guide will return pick up you then visit Pagoda.
14:50 pm: Return the dock, you will visit Vĩnh Tràng Pagoda. The tour guide will introduce to you the history of Vĩnh Tràng Pagoda- the oldest pagoda of South, it has the most specialist architecture of Mekong Delta, is combined between Viet- Khmer culture and original Western Europe architecture.
17:00 pm: Return Saigon. End of the tour. Glad to see you again.
